Summer CTC Programs: Staff, our most important resource! The Northeast Metro Perkins Consortium invested in a comprehensive program of professional development. Particular attention was paid to investing in the staff to support program goals and strategies. Summer is an ideal time to deliver most of the offerings, including industry tours for educators, student organization, math in CTE, summer institutes, and career center development. Currently a cadre group approach is being established to develop and implement a consortium approach to PATHWAYS TO PROSPERITY over the next year. Technical Skills Assessment: A Secondary Perspective Technical skill assessment, one measure in the Carl Perkins grant data accountability can be a fearful process. However, it can also be valuable to students and teachers. Technical skill assessments (TSA?s) are a way to demonstrate student learning of industry skills and to validate student assets for career planning. Teachers can use the TSA results to adjust their curriculum and use the data to make improvements in their courses. This presentation will walk you through how and where to begin administering the TSA?s, and show you what t the results look like.
