February - March 2010 Regional Peer Reviews (Exact dates to be determined)
May 3, 2010 FY11 Local Application Plans are due.
May - June 2010 Consortium Presentation of FY11 Perkins Local Application Plans. Select one of the following: 90 minute on-site interview, WebEx presentation or ITV presentation.
June 30, 2010 Perkins Consortia Notified of FY11 Application and Budget. (Note: Expenditures may ONLY occur after official approval letter from the Office of the Chancellor).
July 2010 Secondary and postsecondary FY12 Performance targets are set.
October 15, 2010 Annual Performance Report (APR) for FY10 are due.
October 15, 2010 Secondary Cumulative Equipment Inventory purchased with Perkins funds due.
November 2010 Statewide Fall Perkins Mandatory Meeting (Exact date and location to be determined)
November 2010 Perkins Best Practices Conference (Exact date and location to be determined)
December 1, 2010 Secondary FY10 Audited budgets due to Minnesota Department of Education , including a completed excel budget sheet.
Monitoring
The monitoring review provides an opportunity to not only meet compliance requirements, but also provide technical assistance, foster continuous improvement, and develop a better understanding of local performance, operations and issues facing CTE, schools and colleges. Minnesota Career and Technical Education fosters continuous improvement. Lessons learned from monitoring visits will be shared with local consortia and inform the state CTE leaders of policies and procedures that need to be modified.
